The Story of Middle Island
The island officially becomes a Canuck after being purchased in 1999 by the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
The lighthouse on the island served as a midway point for sailors travelling from Thunder Bay travelling to Michigan.
Prior to the 1950s the island was used as an airstrip.
Folks gathered from near and far and the island saw almost 200 visitors a day.
A border between the United States and Canada lives within the water to Middle Island and sits just 150 metres from the US maritime boundary within Lake Erie.

The Magnum hops act as a bittering hop for balance and through the dry-hopping process Citra hops provide tropical aromas of peach, lychee and citrus. You’ll enjoy a clean, soft finish without lingering bitterness.
