Why Montana’s

Montana’s is the home of 100% Canadian BBQ and we’re all about family, friends and fellow Canadians gathering together sharing in pure BBQ love. We’re always looking for Team Members who are down-to-earth, friendly and passionate about serving or cookin’ up good ol’ BBQ from the grill! We also want to make sure you’re having a good time doing it!

The Main Stuff

  • Work for a National brand. There’s always room for BBQ and if you’re travelling around Canada there’s likely a Montana’s close by—we have 105 restaurants in all provinces (outside of Quebec). Canadians like their BBQ.
  • Kickin’ employee discount. Get 20% off at RECIPE restaurants.
  • Gain Experience. Work within one of Canada’s largest restaurant companies.

The Cool Stuff

Aside from getting to wear plaid, listening to country music and just lovin’ BBQ we’ve got some cool stuff happening at Montana’s.

  • Annual Culinary Competition. We’re all about that BBQ life and if you have an idea we want to hear it. Contribute to the menu and get your name out there.
  • Annual Server & Bartender Competitions. Win great prizes like tickets to the Country Music Awards, Boots & Hearts and more! It’s one of the ways we say thanks!

The Training

We want our associates to grow with us and they’re success at Montana’s is important to us.

  • All Associates. Our associates are important to us and that begins with a Comprehensive Orientation and Training Plan.
  • Culinary Associates. If BBQ is your thing we want you to grow with us. Become a certified Montana’s Grillmaster and/or Smokemaster with our Training Plan.
  • Managers. All managers receive an 8-week Training Plan.
  • Build your career and become a Trainer for New Store Openings. Gives you the chance to travel Canada while building your résumé.
